Hero Ingredients

Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol)

Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) is the gold standard for skin moisturization. It provides deep penetrating and long-lasting moisture, soothes sensitive skin, and promotes dermal regeneration.

Jojoba Esters

Jojoba Esters have luxe caring benefits such as skin hydration, improved skin barrier function, and a reduction in skin redness.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an excellent oil-soluble antioxidant. It protects cells from free radicals and prevents the peroxidation of skin lipids. It also provides soothing and moisturising benefits to skin.

Apple Extract

Apple extract has traditionally been used for its hydrating and cleansing properties and contains vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fruit AHAs such as Malic Acid.

How to Use

Nice as a hand cream

I received this product in May's 2019 Beautorium parcel and found that although it is a "hand and body lotion", its consistency is such that it makes a nice, light hand cream as well. The lotion is packaged in an aqua green 50ml plastic tube with a clear white plastic flip top lid. It is a pastel aqua green colour and has the consistency more of a light cream than a runny lotion making it ideal for me to use as a hand cream. It has a fruity fragrance and smells more of cranberries than apples. What I like about this product is that although it is a light cream, it moisturises my hands well leaving the my hands smelling delightful and feeling soft and smooth. It absorbs into the skin well so there isn't a greasy after feeling. The 50ml size tube is a convenient size as it fits into my handbag without taking up too much room. So it is great to use when I am out and about and whenever my hands feel dry. I tend to prefer heavier weighted hand and body lotions that provide 24hours moisturisation so this is not a product that I would normally purchase. But for on- the -spot moisturisation to combat the feeling of dryness, this product serves well.
