Soothing Cream

Lovely fragrance and very moisturizing, Loving it so far!

I already knew the quality of the product, as I completed Cert III in Beauty Services at TAFE. The product is wonderful.

Thank you very much to Lycon and Beautyheaven for the chance to trial this Lycon Soothing Cream. It comes packaged in a 250ml clear plastic bottle with a pump action dispenser. This moisturising cream is a light pink colour and has a sweet fruity scent. This moisturiser is great for my often sensitive skin as it contains some moisturising and calming ingredients such as rose, chamomile, jasmine, shea butter and vitamin E. This is a luxuriously thick lotion and yet it is quickly absorbed into my dry skin. It keeps my skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated all day long. After using it daily for the past couple of weeks this soothing cream has left my skin looking more healthy and youthful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a moisturiser that leaves the skin hydrated and replenished.

This is a nice body cream to use. It comes in a convenient plastic pump dispenser which is clear so you can see how much product is left. It's a pretty, pale pink cream with a thick texture and a strong, sweet scent. When you first dispense the cream the smell is similar to raspberry yoghurt, to me anyway, tangy and fruity. Once massaged into the skin it smells more sweet and berry-like, before finally settling into the floral scents of rose and jasmine I expected. The floral perfume is subtle but natural, and while it lingers on the skin it is very pleasant. As far as moisturising, it absorbs very fast but doesn't leave my skin feeling particularly "silky" or deeply hydrated. It's very easy and convenient to use because it doesn't leave a sticky residue, but I don't feel like it's the "ultimate moisturising cream" it describes itself as. After a few days of use I noticed the skin on my legs had lost its winter "scaly" look (pretty I know!), but my skin would still start to feel tight and dry within a few hours of application; this cream doesn't moisturise as deeply and for as long as my richer creams do. I feel like this would be an ideal summer moisturiser. It doesn't leave a residue, has a nice fresh scent, and still provides a decent amount of hydration, just not quite enough for winter.

I have been using this gorgeous moisturiser from Lycon as part of the July Discovery Bag, I am very excited as this is my first discovery bag. The product comes in a fabulous pump bottle, 250 ml's in each bottle so if used daily, should last about a month. The lotion is pale pink and quite light, so when pumped out, smooths over the skin beautifully and soaks in very quickly. The scent is amazing, I am in love with it. It reminds me childhood lollies like redskins and sherbet. It is a total pleasure to use. It absorbs into the skin super fast, so you do not need to wait to dress. My skin feels lovely and soft, hydrated and smooth. After a week, my skin feels really nice, no scaly legs where you shave, just smooth and softer skin. It is also a very gentle lotion, so it is lovely to use after you have shaved your legs. This is a lovely body lotion, it moisturises and makes your skin feel soft and so hydrated, absorbs in quickly and smells lovely too, making it a total pleasure to use.
