Integration into Salon Treatments
To begin a salon facial treatment, it’s important to double cleanse the skin to remove makeup, impurities, and grime and ensure you’re starting a treatment on a fresh canvas. We recommend dispensing 3 pumps of LYCON Skin Micellar Facial Cleansing Gel onto wet hands and massaging this over the face, neck, and décolleté.
Wipe thoroughly with a warm, damp LYCON Skin Magic Puff, a sponge, or a warm & damp towel, and repeat the process. This non-drying, non-irritating and adaptable cleanser is a great choice for salon treatments, as its gentle, smart technology makes for a calming but very effective and thorough cleanse.
Its micellar technology effectively breaks down oils, dirt, and all manner of unwanted residues, all while respecting your skin’s natural barrier.
The LYCON Skin Micellar Facial Cleansing Gel is proving to be an essential in all LYCON Skin facial treatments
If a client is wearing any eye makeup, 1 pump of LYCON Skin Eye Makeup Remover can be dispensed on a cotton pad and gently wiped over closed eyelids. Follow with a damp Magic Puff or cloth.
Depending on the type of facial you’re doing, and the skin type you’re working with, you can exfoliate the skin with LYCON Skin Gentle Cleansing Scrub. Dispense a pea-sized amount to damp fingertips and massage in circular motions, avoiding the delicate skin around the eyes. Follow with a damp Magic Puff, wet cloth, or sponges to remove.

The LYCON Skin Radiance Lime Caviar AHA Mask can be used to exfoliate and brighten the skin at this stage, before facial massage, etc. - more on this below.
Elevating Salon Treatments with LYCON Skin
Now that the skin is cleansed, it’s pamper time! The order in which products are applied will completely depend on the bespoke service you’re providing, as well as the goals and skin type of your clients. However, we’ve created a general order below for how to incorporate LYCON Skin into professional treatments.
Face Massage Oil
LYCON Skin offers a range of corrective and nutritive-rich Face Massage Oils which can be used in a luxury facial treatment to improve relaxation and circulation. All four LYCON Skin massage oils are formulated to cater for particular skin types and concerns, so the oil that is most appropriately suited to your clients’ skin needs and goals should be used.
For example, for a client who is prone to breakouts and has oily skin, we would opt for the Purity Face Massage Oil, which helps normalise and balance oily, blemish-prone skin. For someone with sensitive skin, the Harmony Face Massage Oil is a gentle and light aromatherapy face massage oil, which can improve hydration and soothe sensitive skin. The Magic Touch Face Massage Lotion can also be used to massage the face, either in combination with a LYCON Skin Face Massage Oil or for solo use.
The Harmony Face Massage Oil - a LYCON Skin best-seller
To use the oils, warm a few pumps of oil in your hands and massage into the face, neck, and décolleté to deliver what the skin needs. After the massage is complete, wipe off with a damp, warm cloth/towel, and re-cleanse the face with Micellar Facial Cleansing Gel before continuing with treatment.
Face Masks
Quite often, the next step of a facial will be the application of masks. The masks you use and the order you use them are completely dependent on your client’s individual needs, but we’ll take you through the masks in more detail.
The next step after cleansing would be applying the Radiance Lime Caviar AHA Mask, which is perfect for the face, neck, and décolleté. The mask removes dull, lifeless skin cells to reveal a fresher, smoother, and more evenly toned complexion and is suitable for all skin types, especially those looking to brighten, even the skin tone, and treat blemishes. Apply an even layer on clean, dry skin by hand or with the LYCON Skin Double Ended Mask Brush, avoiding the delicate skin around the eyes. Leave on for 15 – 20 minutes, then remove with a warm towel before applying facial oils (as mentioned earlier), serums, or other masks.
The Superfruits 3 Minute Detox Mask is a great mask for Normal to Oily or blemish-prone skin to purify and detox the skin by absorbing impurities. It can either be applied after cleansing (during a mini facial), facial oils (as mentioned earlier), the Radiance Lime Caviar AHA Mask, or the Deep Hydration Hyaluronic Mask (below).
Apply the mask with a LYCON Skin Double Ended Mask Brush in upward and outward strokes. Allow to dry completely, about 10 – 15 minutes. To remove, use a warm, wet sponge or towel and blot over the mask until the mask is softened, then wipe the mask off thoroughly, without creating a drag on the skin.
A salon facial treatment using the LYCON Skin Deep Hydration Hyaluronic Face Mask being applied with the Double Ended Mask Brush
The Deep Hydration Hyaluronic Mask is a deeply hydrating and plumping face mask, ideal for deeply hydrating drier and more mature skin. This mask can be applied after the Radiance Lime Caviar AHA Mask or the Superfruits 3 Minute Detox Mask, or after cleansing during a mini facial. Leave on for 15 – 20 minutes before washing off with a warm, damp, wet sponge or towel.
Serums
The next step is to apply the Eye Lifting Gel-Crème Serum, designed for all skin types to combat the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, visibly reducing the appearance of crow’s feet and under-eye darkness and puffiness. This product is a great one to recommend to clients for daily home use, with visible results within 2 – 3 weeks. For ongoing improvements and maintenance, clients should use the Eye Lifting Gel-Crème Serum regularly.
The Revitalising Hyaluronic + B5 Booster Serum deeply hydrates and plumps the skin, with Pro-Vitamin B5 and Yeast Beta-Glucan. Use one pump and effortlessly massage into the skin after masks or cleansing. This hydrating serum will leave the skin feeling plump, radiant, and refreshed.
Not only is this a great addition to any facial, it’s also another perfect product to recommend to clients for morning and night use for transformative benefits, including smoother, less lined, less wrinkled, and more radiant skin.
The LYCON Skin Exotic Oil Complex is quickly becoming a cult classic facial oil
The final serum is the Exotic Oil Complex. This product contains Rosehip Oil, Argan Oil, Amazonian Cacay Oil, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and CoEnzyme Q10, and is great to be massaged into the skin as the last step of a facial after LYCON Skin moisturisers (see below), for deep hydration. It smells amazing, has a beautiful texture, and is deeply hydrating and reparative. This oil is ideal to recommend to clients for daily use, AM & PM.
Moisturisers
LYCON Skin moisturisers are designed to hydrate and firm the skin and are a perfect inclusion to any facial treatment. The adaptive moisturiser formulas deliver multiple benefits, including strengthening the skin’s barrier functions (great for sensitive skin), boosting collagen and elastin, amplifying cell renewal, deeply hydrating, as well as delaying the skin’s general ageing processes.
LYCON Skin moisturisers are also non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types, making them a great in-salon product and an important and fantastic choice for daily home use, crucial to building lasting results.

Client Education
As we’ve mentioned throughout, it’s easy to educate clients about LYCON Skin. It’s simple-to-use and self-explanatory, with no need for any specific morning or night routines (apart from possibly swapping your night cream for your day cream in the morning, during drying weather conditions), and no need for complex usage instructions (we’re talking no more “once every third morning, not to be used with X product”) to achieve results.
With such gentle, corrective, and nurturing ingredients, all products can be used both mornings and nights, and the recommended product application order is similar to most other skincare. After cleansing and masks are applied, products should be applied in viscosity/weight. Therefore, after cleansing and masking, we recommend lightweight face and eye serums as a first step, followed by moisturisers and neck creams, and finishing with Exotic Oil Complex for added and deeper hydration.
